Like most, Dr. Hotic did not enjoy going to the dentist and for this reason she has made it her mission to change the perception of dentistry. Our goal is to educate you and empower you to make the best possible decisions when it comes to your health and teeth. We want to make it a fun and comfortable patient experience. Gone are the days of not loving to visit the dentist.
I knew that dentistry was my calling after volunteering at a dental clinic in Maputo, Mozambique. Witnessing firsthand the impact dentistry could have on one's life by transforming a smile confirmed my calling.

As our business manager, James plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment where our patients feel like family. He oversees all aspects of the administrative side of the practice to ensure our office runs seamlessly, allowing the team to focus on providing exceptional care for our patients. James recently transitioned to the dental field, after having spent the last 14 years in the beverage industry working for global brands Coca-Cola and Pepsi in various national management positions. His extensive knowledge working with large corporations translates well to our practice as he’s able to enhance processes, implement new systems, and ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, James is known for his compassionate nature and unwavering dedication to patient care. He takes the time to listen to each patient's concerns, ensuring that they feel heard, valued, and well-cared for throughout their visit. When he's not busy helping keep the practice running smoothly, James enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, coaching youth sports teams, and distance running.

Chloe graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Ball State University in central Indiana in 2015. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she moved to the Florida Keys where she started her dental career. With over five years of experience in a multispecialty office she has a broad knowledge of all things dentistry. She has a focus in surgical and prosthodontic specialties but enjoys all aspects of dentistry. In June 2023 she welcomed her first baby and together with her husband she chose to relocate to NC to enjoy this time closer to family! Chloe is excited to continue to get to know her patients in Charlotte and expand on her dental knowledge with Dr. Hotic and team!

Sarah is our dedicated Administrative Assistant. As a vital part of our team, Sarah brings a wealth of organizational skills and a passion for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our patients. Sarah graduated in 2023 with her Undergrad degree in Genetics and Bioengineering. What drives Sarah's passion for dentistry is her fascination with preventative medicine and how our oral health plays a pivotal role in our overall well-being. She understands that a healthy smile is not only a source of confidence but also a gateway to better health. Sarah is here to support you on your journey to optimal oral health.
Outside of the office, Sarah is a nature enthusiast with a love for hiking and foraging. She has a wanderlust spirit and enjoys traveling to new places, soaking in diverse cultures, and trying exotic cuisines. She is also a creative soul, with a knack for arts and crafts that shine through in her attention to detail and commitment to making each patient's visit special.

Carolina has been a part of the dental field since the age of 19. She began her career in dentistry as a patient care coordinator where her passion for dentistry began to grow. Her passion led her to further her studies and become a dental hygienist. She graduated with honors from Florence-Darlington Technical College in 2019. She enjoys dental hygiene because it allows her to educate her patients based on their individual needs, while creating a strong relationship and providing the best care possible. Carolina understands how important it is to feel comfortable while at the dentist, so she strives to make each dental visit a pleasant one. Carolina is originally from Colombia and moved to the US at the age of 10. When away from the office she enjoys spending her free time with her husband, their son, Lucas and their dog, Bruno. She loves to do puzzles, to read, and to spend time outdoors.
